About the Role:

Morellis One Hour Dry Cleaners Inc is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Presser to join our team in Indianapolis, IN! This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, customer-focused dry cleaning operation where quality and efficiency are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities:

• Press, steam, and finish garments to meet high-quality standards using professional pressing equipment
• Inspect garments before and after pressing for stains, damage, or imperfections
• Operate commercial pressing machines, steam irons, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle a variety of fabrics and garment types, including delicate and specialty items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Work efficiently to meet turnaround time goals in a dry cleaning environment
• Assist with other tasks in the dry cleaening process as needed
• Communicate with team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a presser, laundry worker, or in a dry cleaning environment preferred
• Knowledge of fabric types and proper pressing/finishing techniques
• Ability to operate commercial pressing and steaming equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to garment quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a warm environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
• Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude towards the compnay and its customers
• Work in a dynamic environment, adapt to changes in the workload and schedule, and perform additional tasks as needed
