We are seeking reliable and experienced Production Operators for a full-time rotating shift position with a leading plastics manufacturing company in Knoxville, TN. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong manufacturing background who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Schedule & Pay:
Rotating Shift: 3 days on / 3 days off
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM for 6 weeks — $23.31/hour
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM for 6 weeks — $25.81/hour
Must be available to work holidays that fall within your rotation (paid at overtime rate).
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Perform setup, adjustments, and quality checks using calipers and micrometers.
Conduct repetitive motions throughout the shift, including standing, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
Maintain product quality in accordance with company and customer standards.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.
Communicate clearly and follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing experience (Injection Molding experience a plus).
Demonstrated longevity in previous positions and excellent references.
No history of attendance issues in prior roles.
Must be able to work the rotating shift schedule with no accommodations.
Previous experience with rotating shifts is a plus but not required.
Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Must pass a criminal background check and provide a clear DMV report.
